Script Steps

Once the script step is active, click on 'Run' to execute the Script Step.

After running a script step, there will be a Preview of the output data shown in a tabular format below.

Prior to clicking 'Mark as Done':

If you update and re-run the script, previously generated records will be replaced and updated with the new results from the updated script. This is because the Step has not been marked as complete yet.

After clicking 'Mark as Done':

The records will now be created, because the Step is now considered complete.

Records produced from Scripts can be viewed from the Records tab in the homepage.

What if I re-run a Script step after I've already clicked 'Mark as Done'?

To re-run a script step, click on 'create new revision'. This will create a new revision of the Script Step, e.g. .

The output of the script will create entirely new records, with unique IDs that correspond to the relevant Script step revision.

Records created from previous script runs will remain as it is and not be updated.
