Executing Types: Test Instances

Last updated 1 month ago

As a Seal Builder, you are able to test instances of templates before publishing them.

Test Instances enable you to test the functionality of your templates, without creating any real records.

Real entities can't reference test instances, but test instances are able to reference real entities in the platform → this design enables you to test if a template has the correct functionality.

Additionally, any records created from this test instance will not appear in the search page by default.

Click on 'Test Template' at the top right hand corner.

The Instance of the template will have a 'Test record' or Test Document' tag.

You should be able to execute as per normal.
