Creating Types

You are able to create Custom Types that specifically fit your data structure.

Navigate to the 'Types' tab on the settings page, and click on + New.

Specify variables for your custom Type in the advanced settings:

Content Type

Content Type
Description

Page Content

Information that exists on a page

Script code

Script

Chart

Visualisation

File

An uploaded file, e.g. a Word Document, PDF, Excel file

None

No document or page content

Default Fields

  • Fields which will exist for this particular custom Type, for e.g. Date Created, Created By, Effective Date.

  • You are able to edit the field names by double clicking on the bar.

Templates

Enabling templates will allow templates to be made from the type — you are also able to further specify how and when instances can be made from this type.

Instances

This refers to instances that are created from the type.

Once created, the custom Type will appear under the 'Custom Types' section.
