Lookups are a type of field that allows you to get field values from referenced objects.
This is useful for when you are building up data additively in the steps of a procedure, but still want to see it all in one place.
Lookup fields can be used to display data from connected records.
To do so, a reference field must first be created in the connecting step before a lookup field is created.
Reference Field: the entity to be referenced - this can be any object within Seal. A specific version of an entity can be selected.
Target Field: the name of the field which you would like to pull information from. This can be any field type, except a lookup field. Once an entity has been chosen, the lookup field will be automatically populated. The lookup value will be updated when the lookup field configuration changes or the reference field changes.
