Sometimes, you may need to re-run certain procedures or steps even though they have already been executed once.
When re-running steps or procedures, a new revision will be made. Subsequent revisions will increase by a consecutive number, e.g. R2 and so on.
Even though new revisions are made, data from previous steps or procedures will not be replaced, or updated.
The new records or procedures will have entirely unique IDs that correspond to the relevant revision number.
'Create new revision' enables you to create a new revision of the procedure and all of its corresponding steps. The procedure and each step will have .
It is possible to re-run a singular step (or multiple steps) without affecting the rest of the steps in the procedure.
'Create new revision' from a Step level enables you to re-run a singular step. Once completed, click on 'Mark as Done'.
As data has been changed, the procedure will have to be marked as complete.
Steps that have not been re-run will remain as its previous revision number.
