Record Templates are intended for documents that are completable, i.e. processes that are executed and carried out. They are classified by this icon.
Some common examples are (but not limited to): a Batch Record, CAPA, or ELN template.
You can access all Record Templates from the templates tab, in the navigation bar on the left hand side.
In the "Fields" tab, add relevant Fields that all Documents should contain.
In the "Documents" tab, specify naming conventions for all Documents created from this Document Template.
In the "Documents" tab, specify the review cycle for all Documents created from this Document Template.
Clicking on the button in the top right corner changes the state of the record to published — this also creates a Template of your record.
Click on to start an execution of this template — subsequent records created will inherit a completable lifecycle.
