Migration
Migrating from your paper-based documents or existing software to Seal is simple and straightforward. Our intuitive tools and import features are designed to make the transition smooth, quick, and efficient - ensuring that all your data can be transferred without hassle.
Will I lose functionality of my previous systems?Maintaining full functionality is our top priority. We take extra care to ensure that all critical features and processes are preserved throughout the transition. By thoroughly understanding your current system, we identify key functionalities that must be maintained, and configure Seal accordingly. Our post-migration testing and validation processes ensure that the quality, functionality, and integrity of your data is maintained.
The Migration Process
Our dedicated team of deployment strategists will work closely with your team and oversee the entire migration process.
- Determine Scope and Depth of Migration
Our team begin by thoroughly assessing your current system: understanding the data, applications, and infrastructure involved. This includes identifying what components need to be migrated, and areas which may require additional reconfiguration.
We will work closely with your team to define the migration’s depth, ensuring we cover all functional, technical, and compliance needs.
- Establish Timelines
Once the scope is clearly defined, we will collaboratively establish realistic timelines for each phase of the migration, based on the migration urgency. Regular checkpoints will be scheduled to monitor progress.
- Execute Migration
Migration is conducted in a phased and controlled manner to minimise downtime. This will include transferring data, configuring systems, and making relevant data links and workflows.
Throughout this process, we will work closely with your team to mitigate arising issues.
- QA Checks
Post migration, data integrity checks and post-migration testing is conducted. This ensures that your data remains intact, with full functionality and compatibility. Once completed, Seal is ready for use — with your old data in the system.
Implementation
The Implementation Process in Seal is a comprehensive process that results in complete building of the system in line with the customer’s needs and expectations. Our team is able to setup the platform, with established templates and workflows, so all you have to do is log in to get started.
Our implementation process is tailored to customer’s needs - our dedicated team of deployment strategists will work closely with your team and oversee the entire process.
- Determine Applications, Processes, and Workflows
We speak to relevant teams to gather insights on their daily tasks, pain points, and key workflows and processes. This approach helps us map out the end-to-end process, identify critical applications and dependencies, and document any unique requirements or integrations. Once this knowledge is compiled, our team can replicate, optimise, or automate these processes in alignment with your needs.
We are also able to gauge the scope and depth of what needs to be built.
- Establish Timelines
Once the scope is clearly defined, we will collaboratively establish realistic timelines for each phase of the building, based on the your urgency. Regular checkpoints will be scheduled to monitor progress.
- Building and Configuring
The building process is conducted by our team of experts, but do require a collaborative, iterative effort with the customer to ensure the solution perfectly fits their needs.
The process involves back-and-forth communication, where initial workflows are presented, feedback is gathered, and adjustments are made accordingly. This cycle of refinement continues until the customer is satisfied with the functionality and performance.
In some cases, customers will get on using the platform and executing the workflows, to ensure that the final product aligns with their requirements and expectations.
- QA Checks and Validation
Once the processes has been built, rigorous testing for functionality, performance, and reliability is conducted. These tests must be passed prior to live use to ensure quality of the platform.
